Given :- If two lines intersect each other and one angle of vertically opposite angles pair is 125° then what will be measurement of another angle ?

Solution :-

from image , we have ,

  • Line AB and CD intersect at O .
  • ∠AOC = ∠BOD = 125° (given)

since , AB is a straight line .

so,

→ ∠AOC + ∠BOC = 180° (Linear pair angles.)

then,

→ 125° + ∠BOC = 180°

→ ∠BOC = 180° - 125°

→ ∠BOC = 55° .

therefore,

→ ∠BOC = ∠AOD (vertically opposite angles.)

→ ∠AOD = 55° .

Hence, the measurement of another pair of vertically opposite angles is 55° .
