If two rectangles with 6cm lenght and 3cm breadth are joined together along their length thrn find the perimeter of the new shape

perimeter of first rectangle=2(l+b)
=2(12+6)
=2*18
=36
if 2 rectangles are joined together then length will be 12 and breath will be 6cm.

It's given

Length = 6cm

Breadth = 3cm

We have to find the perimeter of the new shape formed by joining 2 rectangle of same dimension

.

. . The length is 6+6=12

Perimeter of rectangle

=2(l+b)

=2(12+3)

=2(15)

=30

.

. .the perimeter of new shape is 30c
