Women Education : A necessity
In this modern world, education of women is very necessary for the development. We humans have made a lot of differentiation among the peoples. In this world, all the peoples should be equally treated.
Earlier people thought that women education not necessary. But, now-a-days people have begun to realise that education of women is essential.
This modern age is the age of awakening the sleeping souls of humans , and made them realise about women education. They are trying their best to compete with men in all the spheres of life. There are still many people who oppose the education of women.They believe that the proper place for women is a home and household activities, so they argue that the money that is spent on thee education of women is wasted, but this view is totally wrong because women education can bring about a silent revolution and a huge change in the society.
There are several advantages of female education, the women who are educated can play an important role in the development of the country. They can share the burden of men in the different walks of life. They can serve the society as teacher's, lawyers, doctors and administrator, as they can play an important role during war.
One educated male will be educated for himself. But one educated female can educate her own family and the complete society as well. So, we should contribute in the education of women.
Importance of Women Education
Today's world is the world of modernity. Everything is going in a modern way. In this modern world many steps are taken to destroy the evils present in our society. These steps are reducing the bad doings present in our society.
In the ancient time, there were many Superstitions based on women like - "If you get the girls study , they will not do any household works." or "They will not be under your limits." etc. But these were just to have control over girls. There was not any strong logic behind that .
But as time went on , people came to know the importance of studies. They got satisfied with the decision that studies are important for women too.
Let's have a look on Savitri Bai Phulle , the first women teacher in India. She studied because of her husband. He was also a teacher. They both belonged to a low caste. They decided to make a school for the low caste people (Dalits). But they didn't get any staff , so they decided to run the school by their own. And he taught her wife and made her able to teach others. But they had to suffer from many evils present in the society at that time. They were buycotted from the society. But they didn't quite. And because of them many girls and low caste people became educated.
Same in this way , many social reformers who took the initatives to remove the evils present in the society had to face many problems. But because of them we are having such an inspirational history and a very amazing, just like fairy tales society. But it's not enough we must have to change many more things to destroy all the evils and devils in our society.
And because of women education we are having a lot of women in our society who have done those works which the men said that they couldn't do that . Kalpana Chawla , Vijay Laxmi Pandit , Annu Kumari , Anna Malhotra , Kiran Bedi etc . are great examples.
So we must get the women study if we want change. And education is the only weapon who can change the society.
