Given :-

  • u = 0

To find :-

Value of t

SOLUTION:-

As they given equation of motion ,

s = ut +  \dfrac{1}{2} at {}^{2}

u = 0 Since ,

s = (0)t +  \dfrac{1}{2} at {}^{2}

s = 0 +  \dfrac{1}{2} at {}^{2}

s =  \dfrac{at {}^{2} }{2}

2s = at {}^{2}

t {}^{2}  =  \dfrac{2s}{a}

t =  \sqrt{ \dfrac{2s}{a} }

So, the value of t is √2s/a

Know more some formulae:-

》 v= u+at

》 u = v-at

》 v² - u² = 2as

》 v²-u²/2s = a

》 v²-u²/2a = s

》 a = v-u/t

》 s = vt-1/2at²
