if u r given the choice in winter of using either 1 thick blanket or 2 thin blankets joined together . what would u choose ?why?

2 thin blankets joined together is a better option because air is trapped between them; and air is a bad conductor of heat, so it prevents the heat from our body to pass to the surroundings.
