if u remove all electrons in the atom. what about the atom

If all the electrons of an atom are removed the atom would turn into a positive ion. No matter, u remove 1 electron or all of them, the charge on the atom becomes positive. Take the example of Hydrogen, it has only one electron, when it gives it out, it converts to a positively charged ion.
