Given that,

Vector r_{1}=A+B

Vector r_{2}=A-B

We need to calculate the value of r_{1}+r_{2}

Using vector r₁ and r₂

r_{1}+r_{2}=A+B+A-B

r_{1}+r_{2}=2A

|r_{1}+r_{2}|=|2A|

|r_{1}+r_{2}|=2|A|

We need to calculate the value of \dfrac{r_{1}+r_{2}}{|r_{1}+r_{2}|}

Using value of r_{1}+r_{2}

\dfrac{r_{1}+r_{2}}{|r_{1}+r_{2}|}=\dfrac{2A}{2|A|}

\dfrac{r_{1}+r_{2}}{|r_{1}+r_{2}|}=\dfrac{A}{|A|}

\dfrac{A}{|A|} is unit vector along A.

Hence, The vector \dfrac{r_{1}+r_{2}}{|r_{1}+r_{2}|} will be along vector A.
