if velocity of a body changes, will there be a change in momentum?why?

yes there will be change in momentum cuz it is depending on mass n velocity hence if either of them change the momentum changes

Yes, certainly if the velocity of an object changes there should be a change in the momentum as we know that the momentum is the product of mass and velocity of an object...
