Consider the given equation,

mu=A+λB+λ2C............(1)

Writing dimensional formula of m, u and lambda

Dimension of mu=[MLT−1]

Dimension of wavelength=[L]

Since, dimension of same quantity adds.

Put dimensions in (1)

[MLT−1]=A

[MLT−1][L]=B

[ML2T−1]=B

[MLT−1][L2]=C

[ML3T−1]=C

Dimension of A,B and C are calculated.

hope this helps you
