if water is unlimited then why we say save water

We know that 71 percent of water is there in the whole world in that 96to97%of water is present in Oceans 3to2%of water is present in glaciers, lakes. 1%of water is in under grounds which is useful for us. We are using the water from lakes but now a days population increased. It should be sufficient to all so we should save water.
