No , The Median doesn't change when a smallest and largest value is added to a given data.

Consider , There are 5 observations

The median will be 3rd Observation.

When two observations, largest value and a smallest value are added ,then They get arranged in the first & last of data.

For above mentioned example, if two observations, one smallest and one largest are added.

Total observations = 7

The previous nth observation will be (n+1) observation as an observation is added at the start.

Median = 4th term ,

In the previous data 3rd term is now 4th term .

Therefore , If we added a largest value and a smallest value to a given data. The Median doesn't change.
