if we are 100cm in front of a mirror where does your image appear to be? if we move towards the mirror, how does our image move?

The image appears to be 200cm away from us, i.e. 100cm on the other side of the plane mirror. If we move towards the mirror, the image moves closer to us and to the mirror, but its size doesn't change.

if we are 100 cm in front of a plane mirror our image will be 200 cm away from it (100 cm behind the mirror + 100 cm is the position of the object) .If we move towards the mirror our image will also move towards as but no change in the size.
