Mitigation techniques of landslides are :

Construction of retention wall to avoid land from slipping.

Avoid construction of buildings on mountain slopes.

The landslide movement should be controlled by the implementation of the surface drainage control works .Surface water should be diverted from the area where there is more chances of landslides.

Removal of the soil and  rock from the upper part will decrease the pressure and can stop a landslide.

Increase in vegetation can minimize the effect of landslide.
