If we burn graphite residue will be left or no residue will be left or it will not burn or it will change into diamond

Graphite is non flammable but can be burnt only in high temperatures.

Graphite needs around 400 degrees to get burnt.

It reduces when combined with air. it acts as a reducing agent.

It acts as an explosive when combines with air and dust.

And residue is left which is black in colour and non toxic.

We will burn graphite in the presence of oxygen and carbon di oxide gas will formed as a product without any residue.It will stop burning due to more amount of carbon di oxide.
