Explanation:

u are confusing maths and science

in maths when a number is divided it results in a smaller number

but in biology when a cell is divided it results into smaller cells which are result of the cell division.

now these cells grow and then they again perform cell division . therefore division of cell does not decrease the number it actually increases it.
