Let in starting speed of car is =v m/s

According to statementspeed of that car increase by 4 times means=4m/s

We know

kinetic energy of car define by =1/2mv^2

Question said that speed is 4 times so kinetic energy during is =1/2×m×(4v)^2 . So by this calculation we got if increases speed of car 4 times than kinetic energy of car is also increase by 16 times from before.

If we increase the velocity of a car moving on a flat surface to four times its original speed, its potential energy will not change.
