Thermoplastic materials melt under high temperatures and solidify when cooled. Since electric current generates high temperatures, these materials would melt and on cooling, would not regain initial shape or design. This would cause flaws in their functioning. For example, if the switch has ports for plugging in, they might be blocked during the melting and the cooling.....hope u lyk it...
