If we put iodine on yellow dry leaf it didnot change color why

Answer:

It doesn't change color.

Explanation:

This is because of the absence of chlorophyll in the leaf.Due to which it is unable to make starch.Hence,on adding iodine it doesn't change to blue-black color.
