Answer:

Explanation:

Let say Resistance of Heating element = R

Power Dissipated = V²/R

R = ρL/A

Length is Decreased by 10 %

L' = L - (10/100)L = 0.9L

R' = ρL'/A

=> R' = 0.9R

Power Dissipated  = V²/0.9R

= (V²/R)/0.9

= (V²/R)*(10/9)

Power increased by 10/9 - 1 = 1/9

in % = 100/9 = 11.11 %

the power dissipated by it will increase by 11.11 %.
