Ways to prevent water shortage:

A. We should use water judiciously.

B. We should not throw away the used water. This water may be used in further for flushing of toilets.

C. Water should not be left open because it may get contaminated

D. Water should be stored in earthen pots.

E. There should be a means to collect rainwater.

F. There should be a recycling of water

G. Instead of using the shower for bathing, we can use a bucket and mug. This saves water.
