if x=1+√2

then x-1/x³ = 1+√2 - 1 / (1+√2)³

                   = √2 / 1³ + √2³ + 3(√2)(1)(1+√2)

                   = √2 / 1 + 2√2 + 3√2(1+√2)

                   = √2 / 1 + 2√2 + 3√2 + 12

                   = √2 / 13 + 5√2
