{\huge{\fbox{\overline{\underline{\blue{Solution}}}}}}

x = 1/3

y = 2/5

Taking LHS:-

= -(1/3 × 2/5)

= -(2/15)

= -2/15

Now, taking RHS:-

= (-1/3) × (-2/5)

= 2/15

 Therefore

RHS LHS

Hence,

 \huge \underline \bold \orange {Answer..}

x = 1/3

y = 2/5

➠ LHS:-

= -(1/3 × 2/5)

= -(2/15)

= -2/15

➠ RHS:-

= (-1/3) × (-2/5)

= 2/15

ThereforeTherefore

RHS ≠ LHS

Hence,
