p(x)=x³+3x²-x-3

g(x)=(x-1)(x+3)

=x²-x+3x-3

=x²+2x-3

now divide p(x) by g(x)

x²+2x-3)x³+3x²-x-3(x+1

x³+2x²-3x

q(x)=x+1

therefore zeros of x are 1,-3 and -1
