Solution :-

Given ,

  • x = 1
  • y = 3
  • Equation :- 2ax + 3y = 11

By substituting the given values

☞ 2a(1) + 3(3) = 11

☞ 2a + 9 = 11

☞ 2a = 11 - 9

☞ 2a = 2

☞ a = 2/2

a = 1

Hence , a = 1

Verification :-

By substituting the value of a , x & y . If LHS = RHS , the value of a is correct .

➜ 2(1)(1) + 3(3) = 11

➜ 2 + 9 = 11

➜ 11 = 11

LHS = RHS

Hence , verified .

Given :-

x = 1

y = 3

2ax + 3y = 11

To Find :-

Value of a

Solution :-

By putting value of x and y

11 = 2a(1) + 3(3)

11 = 2a + 9

11 - 9 = 2a

2 = 2a

2/2 = a

1 = a

Hence

Value of a in the given equation is 1
