x = 1 y = 6

8x - ay + 2a = 0

8(1) - a(6) + 2a = 0

8 - 6a + 2a = 0

8 - 4a = 0

-4a = -8

a = -8/-4

a = 8/4

a = 2

therefore the Value of a = 2
