Heya❤️

p ( x ) = 3x^2 - kx

If ( x + 1 ) is a factor,

then x = -1

p ( -1 ) = 3 ( -1) ^2 - k ( - 1 ) = 0

3 + k = 0

k = - 3

Hence, value of k is -3.

Step-by-step explanation:

First comfirm what ur question is?

Is 3x*2- k(x) or 3×2-kx

If it is 3x*2- k(x) then solution is

3(-1)*2 - k(- 1) =0

3(1)+k=0

K=0-3

K=o

And if ur Q. Is 3*2-kx

3*2-k=0

6+k=0

K=-6
