 \frac{x + 1}{y}  = 5 \\  \frac{2x + 3}{y}  = 13 \\ .............................. \\  \frac{x + 1 - 2x  - 3}{y}  =  - 8 \\  \frac{ - x - 2}{y}  =  - 8 \\  - x - 2 =  - 8y \\ x - 8y + 2 = 0

Answer:

3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

x+  y/1  =5 ⇒  1/y=5-x

2x+  y/3 =13

Putting the value in equation (2).

2x+3(5−x)=13

2x+15−3x=13

           −x=−2

             x=2

1/y  = 5-x = 5−2= 3

y = 1/3

∴ 2x-3y=2(2)-3(1/3)

            =4-1

            =3

Hope it helps you
