 {\huge {\mathfrak {Answer :-}}}

_________

Given, x = 2 - root 3

So, 1/x = 1/(2 - root 3)

= (2 + root 3) / (2 - root 3)(2 + root 3)

= (2 + root 3) / 4 - 3

= 2 + root 3

Now,

x + 1/x

= 2 - root 3 + 2 + root 3

= 4

_________

Thanks..

Answer:

x+1/x=2-root3+1/2-root 3

=(2-root 3)^2-1/2-root3

=(2)^2+(root3)^2-2×2×root3-1/2-root3

=4+3-4root3-1/2-root3

=6-4 root 3/2-root3 is the answer
