rationalize it by multiplying and dividing it by ( 2-√3) we get

1/X = 2-√3

now

( √x+1/√x) ^2 =( X )+( 1/X )+ 2*(√x)*(1/√x )

= 2+√ 3 + 2-√3 + 2

= 6

( √x+1/√x) ^2 = 6

taking square root both sides

√x+ 1/√x= √6
