Hello Friend.

Here is your answer below,,

Given values are,

x = 2 + 3

Now going to solution,

x {}^{2}  - 4x + 2 \\  =  > (2 +  \sqrt{3} ) {}^{2}  - 4(2 +  \sqrt{3} ) + 2 \\  =  > 4 + 3 + 4 \sqrt{3}  - 8 - 4 \sqrt{3}  + 2 \\  =  > 7 +  4\sqrt{3}  - 4 \sqrt{3}  - 8 + 2 \\  =  > 9 - 8 \\  =  > 1

I hope that helps you

Given :-

x= 2+√3

then value of

x²-4x+2 = ?

putting 2+√3 at the place of x

(2 + √3)² - 4 (2 + √3) + 2

=[(4 + 3)+2(2×√3)-4(2+√3)+2

[By using the identity (a+b)²=a²+b²+2ab]

=7+ 4√3 - 8 - 4√3 + 2

=7-8+2

=-1+2

Answer = 1
