X^2=(2+√5) +(2-√5) +2(2+√5) (2-√5)

= 4+2(4-5)

= 4-2

= 2

Y^2=(2+√5) +(2-√5) -2(2+√5) (2-√5)

= 4-2(4-5)

= 4+2

= 6

X^2+Y^2= 6+2

= 8
