= 2x³ -5x² + ax + b
x = 0
2(0)³ - 5(0)³ + a(0) + b = 0
b = 0
x = 2
2(2)³ - 5(2)² + a(2) + b = 0
2(8) - 5(4) + 2a + 0 = 0
16 -20 + 2a = 0
-4 + 2a = 0
2a = 4
a = 4/2
a = 2
Therefore,
a = 2 , b = 0
