Given x= 2 is a zero of the equation 2x²-5x² + ax + b =0 => -3x² + ax + b =0 => -3(2²) + a(2) + b =0 => -3(4) + 2a + b =0 => -12 +2a + b =0 => 2a+ b = 12 ------------(1) Given x=0 is also a zero of the equation => -3(0) + a(0) + b =0 => b=0 ------------(2) Substitute (2) in (1) 2a + o = 12 => 2a = 12 => a = 12/2 a = 6 Therefore a = 6 , b = 0
