HI !

f(x) = 2x³ - 5x² + ax + b

f(2) = 0
f(2) = 2 ×2³ - 5 × 2² + 2a + b
       = 16 - 20  + 2a + b = 0
       2a + b = 4          ====> (1)

f(0) = 0
f(0) = 2 × 0³ - 5 × 0² + 0a + b
      b = 0 -----> (2)

putting this value of b in equation 1 ,

2a + 0 = 4
2a = 4
a = 4/2
a = 2

========================

hence ,
a = 2 , b = 0
