Decrease in forests will inctrease deforestation causing more concentration of CO2 not absorbed which will further lead to global warming

it important to increase the 'forest cover’ because

forests purify the air
it prevents soil erosion
it brings rain
it prevents global warming
it gives us oxygen
it keeps the environment cool
forest is the place where wild animals, birds live they will get shelter etc

It prevents soil erosion, during natural calamities such as floods. Let us together plant trees and prevent soil erosion. Global Warming is the increase in the earth's temperature, which can cause melting of ice bergs and in turn cause floods. Global warming is caused due to CO2.
