Solution :-

Let's put the value

 \sf \:  { - 2}^{2}  +  {2}^{2}

Note : (- × - = +)

 \sf \: ( - 2 \times  - 2) + (2  \times 2)

 \sf \: 4  + (2 \times 2)

 \sf \: 4 + 4

 \sf \:  {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2}  = 8

Hence :-

Value of + = 8
