If ( x- 2) is a factor of x3 - 3x+5a than what is the value of a is

$If \: (x-2) \:is \: a \:factor \: of \: p(x) \: then \\p(2) = 0$

$\implies 2^{3} - 3 \times 2 + 5a = 0$

$\implies 8 - 6 + 5a = 0$

$\implies 2 + 5a = 0$

$\implies 5a = -2$

$\implies a = \frac{-2}{5}$

Therefore.,
