 Let \: p(x) = x^{3} -3x + 5a

 If \: (x-2) \:is \: a \:factor \: of \: p(x) \: then \\p(2) = 0

 \implies 2^{3} - 3 \times 2 + 5a = 0

 \implies 8 - 6 + 5a = 0

 \implies 2 + 5a = 0

 \implies 5a = -2

 \implies a = \frac{-2}{5}

Therefore.,
