Answer:

x=2 sin²teta

y= 2 cos²teta

(x+y)=

      = 2 sin² teta + 2 cos² teta

       = 2 ( sin² teta + cos² teta )

         = 2 ( 1 )      [ since, sin²teta+cos² teta = 1 ]

          = 2

Step-by-step explanation: hope this would be the branliest answer!!!
