Substituting x=2 and y=6 in eqn,we get
3*a*2+2*b*6=6
6a+12b=6
ie a+2b=1
so, a=1-2b
Substituting a=1-2b in second equation,we get
2(1-2b-1)+2(3b-4)=4
-4b+6b-8=4
2b=12
b=6
Hope it helps.cheers.
