Solution :-

Given : x = 2y + 6  ; We have to find the value of x³ - 8y³ - 36xy - 216

Substituting the value of x = 2y + 6 in the above, we get.

⇒ (2y + 6)³ - 8y³ - 36(2y + 6)y - 216

⇒ (2y + 6)*(2y + 6)*(2y + 6) - 8y³ - 36*(2y + 6)*y - 216

⇒ 8y³ + 72y² + 216y + 216 - 8y³ - 72y² - 216y - 216

⇒ 8y³ - 8y³ = 0

⇒ 72y² - 72y² = 0

⇒ 216y - 216y = 0

⇒ 216 - 216 = 0

Hence, the answer is 0.
