if x^3=16,y^3=32,find the value of xy

Given,

  • x³ = 16
  • y³ = 32

\sf{\implies x^3y^3=16\times32}

\sf{\implies x^3y^3=512}

\sf{\implies (x^2y^2)(xy)=256\times2\ \ [Just \ splitting \ them]}

Here 256 is a clear square of some number.

Lets find it.

So,

\sf{\implies x^2y^2=256}

\sf{\implies xy=\sqrt256}

\sf{\implies xy=16}
