Step-by-step explanation:

x=>3+2√2

1/x=>(3-2√2)/(3+2√2)(3-2√2)=>(3-2√2)/(9-8)

=>(3-2√2)

x+1/x=>3+2√2+(3-2√2)=6. Cubing on both sides we get

 {(x +  \frac{1}{x})}^{3} =  {6}^3 = 216

Hope it helps you.
