1/X = 1/(3+✓8) = 1/(3+✓8) × (3-✓8)/(3-✓8) = (3-✓8)/(3)² - (✓8)² = (3-✓8)/(9-8) = 3-✓8/1 = 3-✓8.
1/X = 3-✓8.
Therefore,
=> (X+1/X) = (3+✓8) + (3-✓8) = 3+3 = 6.
=> (X+1/X)² = (6)² = 36
=> (X²+1/X²) +2 × X × 1/X = 36
=> (X²+1/X²) +2 = 36
=> (X²+1/X²) = 36-2
=>(X²+1/X²) = 34..
