given us,

x + 3 = 0

=> x = - 3

we found x = - 3

putting value of x in x³ - 7x² - 7kx + 9x

= ( - 3 )³ - 7 ( - 3 )² - 7k ( - 3 ) + 9 ( - 3 )

= - 27 - 63 + 21k - 27

= 21k - 105

so

21k - 105 = 0

=> 21k = 105

=> k = 105/21

=> k = 5

we found k = 5
