(4x - 9)(10x + 2) \\ 40 {x}^{2} + 8x - 90x - 18 \\ 40 {x}^{2} - 82x - 18 \\ 20 {x}^{2} - 41x - 9

If x= 3/20

Then, (4x - 9) x (10x + 2)

= (4*3/20 - 9) x (10*3/20 + 2)

= (3/5 - 9) x (3/2 + 2)

= (3 - 45 / 5) x (3 + 4 / 2)

= -42 x 7/2

= -147
