Solution:-

(x+7)/2(x+14) = (5/8)²

=> (x+7)/(2x+28)= 25/64

=> 64(x+7)=25(2x+28)

=> 64x + 448 = 50x + 700

=> 64x - 50x = 700 - 448

=> 14x = 252

=> x = 252/14

=> x = 18.

Hence,

x= 18.
