Given :  x and y are inversely proportional

x      3       10      x₁     12    x₂

y      20     y₁      15    y₂     1

Step-by-step explanation:

x and y are inversely proportional

=> x ∝  1/y

=> xy  = k

x      3       10      x₁     12    x₂

y      20     y₁      15    y₂     1

x = 3  y = 20

=> xy = 60

=> k = 60

10 *  y₁   = 60

=> y₁   =  6

 x₁  * 15 = 60

=>   x₁   = 4

12 *   y₂   = 60

=> y₂   =  5

 x₂  * 1 = 60

=>   x₂   = 60

x      3       10     4    12    60

y      20     6      15   5     1
