Hey friend!!

Your question might be as follows:-

If x and y are two positive real numbers such that x²+4y²=17 and xy=2 then find the value of (x+2y)

{4y² instead of 4x²}

=============================

x²+4y² = 17

xy = 2

(x+2y)² = {x²+(2y)²+2(x)(2y)}

= (x²+4y²+4xy)

= (17+4(2))

= 17+8

= 25

(x+2y)² = 25

(x+2y) = √25

(x+2y) = 5

Hope it helps…
