X^2+y^2+z^2=

Cos^2alphasin^2beta + cos^2alphacos^2beta+ sin^2 alpha

Cos^2alpha(sin^2beta+ cos^2 beta)+sin^2 alpha

Cos^2 alpha + sin^2 alpha=1
