f(x)=x^3-2x^2+4x+k
put x=1 (as it is a zeroe,it will make equation equal to zero)
f(1)=1^3-2(1)^2+4(1)+k=0
therefore,
1-2+4+k=0
-1+4+k=0
3+k=0
k= -3
